1. ABOUT INDIQUE LAW JOURNAL
The Indique Law Journal [ISSN: 2582-8126] is a double blind peer reviewed online law journal published by Indique Law, an organization working towards the goal to make legal knowledge affordable and accessible to everyone.
The main purpose of the journal concerns being a qualified research tool for practitioners, scholars, students, legislators, and others interested in legal studies. Indique Law Journal is a platform dedicated to students at all the levels as well as legal experts interested in writing about national and international political, social, economic, civil and/or sub issues from a legal standpoint. The journal is published quarterly, and each issue is focused on various legal issues, analyzed with an interdisciplinary approach.
Indique Law Journal is inviting submissions for its Volume 2, Issue 4 (October, 2024).
2. THEME OF THE PAPER
The submission can be on any social, political or legal issue and must provide developments and discussions with regard to the same. It may provide the author’s take on the issue, explaining the legal background succinctly and clearly. We welcome research papers covering a wide range of legal topics, including but not limited to Constitutional Law, International Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, Family Law, Administrative Law, Competition Law, Legal Theory, Legal Ethics, Cyber Law, Privacy Law, Labor Law.
3. GENERAL GUIDELINES
- 3.1 Research Papers
The paper should be a comprehensive review of the relevant contemporary legal issue(s)/question(s) that needs to be analysed and presented. The paper must be clear and lucid on the topic that is dealt upon presented. The authors’ stand on the issue(s) should be expressed without any ambiguity. The word limit for the submission is 4000 – 6000 words (Abstract max. 350 words) , exclusive of footnotes and abstract.
3.2 Case Notes And Comments
Notes and Comments may include a brief analysis of a recent judicial pronouncement, legislation, book, or any relevant legal issue. The word limit for the submission is 2000 – 4000 words (Abstract max. 350 words), exclusive of footnotes and abstract.
3.3 Book Review
Book Reviews should include a brief but deep analysis of the topic of the book, the details mentioned in the book on the concerned topic, and also about the author’s stance and analysis of the topic discussed in the book itself. The word limit for the submission is 2000 – 4000 words (Abstract max. 350 words), exclusive of footnotes and abstract.
4. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
4.1 Inclusions
The paper should compulsorily include: –
(i) Abstract
(ii) Keywords
(iii) Hypothesis
These requirements, apart from the main content of the paper are necessary for the consideration of the same for publication. Non-availability of the above mentioned in the paper shall lead to disqualification.
NOTE: Both abstract and the main abstract are to be submitted together, not individually.
4.2 Paper Submission
- All the submissions must be mailed to submission@ilawjournal.org. Submissions must be in MS Word (.doc or docx.) format only. Submissions made in any other format shall not be considered.
- The Main Text should be in font size 12 Times New Roman,1.5 spacing, justified alignment, with a margin of one inch on all sides.
- The Footnotes should be in font size 10, Times New Roman. Only substantive footnotes are accepted. Speaking footnotes should be avoided.
- Uniform method of ciation should be followed in the whole paper.
4.3 Submission Mode
All submissions with the subject titled ‘Volume 2.4, Indique Law Journal’ shall be mailed to submission@ilawjournal.org. The medium of acceptance of the manuscript is in English. The manuscript must adhere to the submission guidelines of the Journal.
4.4 Co-Authorship
Co-Authorship is allowed up to a maximum of 3 authors.
Note: The submission must be the original work of the author(s). In case of gross plagiarism, the manuscript shall be rejected directly. The relevant sources should be duly acknowledged as footnotes and the decision of the editorial board in this regard will be final and binding. The manuscript shall be original and unpublished.
4.5 Processing Charges
NO PUBLICATION FEE OR PROCESSING CHARGES
4.6 Important Dates
- Last date for submission of full manuscript – 30th October, 2024
- The intimation of acceptance shall be conveyed to authors within two days of submission of manuscript.
- The Journal shall be published by – 10th November, 2024
The editorial board of Indique Law Journal shall review the submissions and shall reject any submission if the same does not match our Editorial and Submission policies. The editorial board of the Indique Law Journal shall help the authors in every possible way to make their submissions meet the standards of our journal.
5. CERTIFICATE OF PUBLICATION
The author(s) shall be provided a soft copy of the ‘Certificate Of Publication’ on their registered Email ID.
Note: The author(s) may inform us if they need a hard copy of the certificate of publication, provided the cost of transit shall be borne by the authors.
